Presentation Title: Investigation on heat transfer characteristics in a fluidized bed heat exchanger
Artur Blaszczuk is an Associate Professor in the area of Energy and Environment at the Department of Advanced Energy Technologies, Czestochowa University of Technology (Poland). Currently, he teaches the courses of Heat Exchangers, Energy Storage Technologies and Thermodynamics. He has supervised 74 Diploma students (including MSc and BSc). He has participated in 8 R&D projects founded by the European Union and also the Polish Ministry of Education and Science in the area of Energy and Environment. He has (co-)authored 1 monograph, more than 70 research papers in international peer-reviewed journals, international conferences and given 2 invited lectures at other universities and international conferences. Currently, he serves as Editorial Board Member of the Energies journal and he is a Guest Editor a Special Issue of Energies “Progress and Novel Applications of Fluidized Bed Technology”. This special issue belongs to the section “Thermal Management”. He was the recipient of the Sentinel of Science Award in 2016, of the Publons Peer Review Awards in 2017, of the Global Peer Review Awards in 2019.
