
Bo Leckner

Prof. Leckner graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology in 1962 and got Ph.D. degree in 1972. After that, he served as acting professor of Energy Conversion until he was officially appointed to the professorship in 1982. He is also the honorary professor of several Universities around the world, including Huazhong University and Science and Technology, Southeast University, Tokyo University of A&T, etc. Prof. Leckner is the world-renowned expert in the field of fluidized bed technology. From the end of the 70’s, He has been working with various aspects of combustion of solid fuels. The research work concerns mainly fluid dynamics, fluidized bed combustion, gasification and so on. During last years the research has been focused on CO2 reduction involving fluidized bed.
