Haiying QI

His research interests are turbulent multi-phase flows and CFB simulation, gas turbine combustor and new energy.

He graduated from Specialty of Gas Turbine at Tsinghua University, received Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, respectively. He worked later as research assistant at Institute of Heat Transfer and Air-Conditioning led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Renz in RWTH Aachen University, Germany and got PhD degree finally. He also had one-year experience in the field of power plant technology with L.&C. Steinmüller Co. Ltd. in Germany. Since 1998, he has been working at Tsinghua as professor. He successively severed as Secretary-General, Chairmen as well as Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Symposium on Coal Combustion (ISCC) hold in China.
