Mingming Zhu

Dr Mingming Zhu is a Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering at Cranfield University and Adjunct Research Fellow at The University of Western Australia. Dr Zhu specialises in thermochemical processing and advanced combustion for low-carbon fuels and clean energy production. This includes biomass/wastes pyrolysis and partial gasification for syngas and hydrogen, oxyfuel combustion, and applied catalysis for fuel conversion and environmental environment control (e.g. NOx reduction and CO2 conversion). Zhu’s current research interests focus on the use of ammonia as hydrogen carrier and carbon-free fuel. He has published over 140 peer-reviewed papers. He also serves as the Editorial Board Member of journals Engineering and Separations.
